Early in his career, he served many companies in a variety of roles, such as the director of application development, GUI engineer, senior web developer and technology analyst. He began his career in technology with a plant engineering internship at Bellsouth from 1992 to 1996.

Mr. Durden's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which he completed in 1998. His status as a Certified Scrum Master, granted by the Scrum Alliance, further enhances his credentials in the field. In accounting for his overall success, Mr. Durden largely credits his tenacious pursuit of excellence, as well as his penchant for delivering quality results on behalf of his clients.

Among Mr. Durden's most notable achievements is the development of a groundbreaking software system for the government of Georgia that helps subsidize childcare for underprivileged families. This software not only modernized an outdated system but also significantly improved efficiency and efficacy in processing payments to childcare providers. In 2022 alone, it facilitated the distribution of approximately $1 billion to childcare providers across Georgia.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Durden is actively involved with several civic organizations, including the media department at his local church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

In his personal life, Mr. Durden enjoys spending time with his family, biking, playing the piano and practicing photography. In addition, he has been involved in karate since 1987 and teaches classes for kids in the community.
