Prior to his current roles, Dr. Grover was the director of scientific innovations at Carlyle Global Partners from 2017 to 2020. He also held advisory roles with Houston Healthspan Innovation Group from 2019 to 2020 and KittyHawk Ventures in 2020. His academic contributions include serving as an adjunct professor at the J. Craig Venter Institute in La Jolla, California, from 2017 to 2019 and as an assistant professor at The Scripps Research Institute from 2014 to 2017.

Dr. Grover's research has led to groundbreaking discoveries, including a novel drug to treat tuberculosis and significant insights into brain function, neuroradiology, magnetic resonance imaging and obsessive-compulsive disorder. He is particularly proud of his work on parasites with the president of the Netherlands Cancer Institute, which resulted in a breakthrough in targeting and eliminating various parasitic organisms. Additionally, his collaboration with Daniel Salomon on kidney transplantation research led to the development of a blood test to evaluate kidney status post-transplant.

Dr. Grover's academic journey began with a master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, polymer engineering and biomedical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, India, in 1998. He then earned his PhD in drug discovery and biomedical magnetic resonance from the Central Drug Research Institute in Lucknow, India, in 2004 and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in chemical biology and immunology at Scripps Research in 2007 after immigrating to the United States.

Throughout his career, Dr. Grover has been recognized for his contributions to science and medicine. He received fellowships from Richard Lerner at Harvard Medical School and Savannah College of Art and Design and was awarded the Marie Meyer Scholarship to develop a skin cancer vaccine. His publications in the field include "A Structurally Distinct Human Mycoplasma Protein that Generically Blocks Antigen-Antibody Union," "The Costimulatory Immunogen LPS Induces the B-Cell Clones that Infiltrate Transplanted Human Kidneys," and "O-Glycoside Orientation is an Essential Aspect of Base J Recognition by the Kinetoplastid DNA-Binding Protein JBP1."

Furthering his industry influence, Dr. Grover is actively involved in several industry-related organizations, including the American Nutrition Association, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Sigma Xi and the American Society of Hematology. He also serves on the board of advisers for GLO Good Foundation and is a member of the executive board for The University of California, San Diego Entrepreneur Challenge.

Outside his professional endeavors, Dr. Grover enjoys horseback riding, surfing, running and playing pickleball.
