His tenure at Medtronic began several years earlier as a system engineer in research and development in 2017, progressing to senior system engineer in 2018 and system engineering manager between 2018 and 2020. Earlier in his career, Mr. Cohen was highly successful as a principal systems engineer and project manager at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) from 2003 to 2017.

Mr. Cohen's graduated with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, cum laude, in 2006 and a Master of Engineering in systems engineering in 2014 from Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. His academic achievements have provided a solid foundation for his systems engineering and product development expertise.

In addition to his formal education, Mr. Cohen has obtained several certifications that have further enhanced his skills and knowledge. He completed an AI in healthcare specialization through Coursera and earned a DRM Green Belt certification from Medtronic. These certifications reflect his commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of advancements in technology and health care.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Cohen is actively involved in civic organizations. Most notably, he volunteered with ELEM/Youth in Distress in Israel from 2015 to 2016, demonstrating his dedication to supporting vulnerable populations.

Throughout his career, Mr. Cohen has been credited for leading and contributing to significant projects that have resulted in innovative products, such as oximetry and wearables, BIS (EEG) cognitive function monitoring and multi-parameter monitors. Among various core competencies, he excels in system architecture, design control, FMEA and safety, and usability.

Mr. Cohen was honored with two prestigious awards from IAI. In 2013, he was presented with a President's Award for leading the development of a groundbreaking new product. Subsequently, he received the Vice President's Award in 2016 for his exceptional performance in systems engineering.
