A distinguished professional with nearly a decade of experience in educational leadership and entrepreneurship, Mr. Ikemba currently serves as the chief financial officer for the Cincinnati Peace Movement LLP. In this role, he meticulously oversees the organization's budget to generate strong revenue and collaborates with the chief executive officer to strategize on expanding services, particularly in tutoring. His efforts, which are pivotal in securing funds that enable the organization to offer free community services, have been recognized through various accolades, including a city proclamation from Cincinnati and recognition from the Directing Adolescent Development (DAD) Initiative.

In addition to his role at the Cincinnati Peace Movement, Mr. Ikemba has been actively involved with the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati since 2024, where he contributes to developing educational curricula. He has also made significant contributions as an assistant director for the DAD Initiative since 2017 and as a workforce accelerator liaison with Avid4 Adventure since 2022. His involvement with these organizations underscores his dedication to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, as well as supporting children's success by teaching reading, mathematics, financial literacy and mental health literacy.

Mr. Ikemba's commitment to education is further exemplified by his position as a lead facilitator at the University of Cincinnati, where he served from 2022 to 2024. During this time, he played a crucial role in enhancing educational pathways for children, ensuring they have access to comprehensive learning opportunities.

Before embarking on his civilian career, Mr. Ikemba served in the United States Army from 2014 to 2018. His military experience instilled in him principles of leadership, awareness and service to others, all of which have been instrumental in his professional journey. He attributes much of his success to his relationship with God, his inherent drive to perform efficiently under stress and a willingness to step outside his comfort zone and embrace new opportunities.

Mr. Ikemba's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in middle childhood education with a specialization in language arts and mathematics from the College of Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services at the University of Cincinnati. To augment his knowledge and qualifications, he earned certifications as a mental health counselor from Mental Health America in 2017 and a certificate to teach English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) from Coursera in 2020.

Deeply committed to civic engagement, Mr. Ikemba volunteers with United Way of Utah County and the Red Cross Center and participates in various mentoring initiatives. His dedication was recognized when he received the Rookie of the Year award at the Community Summit in 2018.

In his personal life, Mr. Ikemba enjoys paddleboarding, spending time on the lake, playing chess, cooking and going to the movies. Looking to the future, he plans to purchase land outside the United States to establish an educational institution focused on literacy and global affairs for children. Through his multifaceted career and personal pursuits, he continues to inspire others by demonstrating that adversity can be transformed into opportunities for growth and positive change.
