Earlier in his career, he gained valuable experience as a graduate research assistant at Indiana University Kelley School of Business from 2015 to 2017 and as a senior software engineer at Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore from 2013 to 2015. His foundational years were spent as a software engineer at Cisco Systems India Pvt. Ltd. from 2011 to 2013 and as a software engineering intern at Capital IQ from 2010 to 2011.

Mr. Rai's academic background includes a Master of Business Administration in finance, marketing and business analytics from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, completed in 2017, and a Bachelor of technology in computer science and engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology University, Vellore (India), completed in 2011.

Throughout his career, Mr. Rai's achievements have been recognized through various awards, including the PM Award at Meta and accolades from Amazon for his exceptional performance as a product manager.
