Passionate about supporting the organization's mission, she has been instrumental in documenting and reviewing client charts to ensure comprehensive advocacy, particularly with insurance companies. Moreover, Ms. Peak actively oversees the clinical program, tailoring it to meet client needs and educating clients on addiction and relapse prevention techniques.

Before becoming a director, Ms. Peak worked at Enlightened Solutions from 2015 to 2022 as a certified alcohol and drug counselor, case manager and primary therapist. In these roles, she provided critical support and therapy to individuals struggling with addiction, honing her expertise in trauma treatment, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, and trauma-informed therapy.

Ms. Peak's career began in the U.S. Army, serving as a combat medic from 1995 to 1998. Her military service was marked by dedication and resilience. However, it ended prematurely due to an injury sustained in the line of duty, leading to her discharge as a disabled veteran. Struggles with addiction compounded this challenging period in Ms. Peak's life, but she found solace and recovery through a community resource 12-step program.

Following her recovery, Ms. Peak was inspired by other women in her network pursuing education. This motivation led her to enroll in classes, graduating with a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Her academic achievements have been pivotal in her career, providing her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in her roles. Adding to her credentials, Ms. Peak received designations as a licensed social worker, licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor, and certified clinical trauma professional.

Ms. Peak is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers, reflecting her commitment to professional development and excellence in social work.

Attributing much of her success to her resilience living in six foster homes while coming of age, her long-term recovery and adherence to the spiritual principles of her program, Ms. Peak's journey has enabled her to assist clients in achieving their recovery goals. Her most significant achievement is overcoming her fear of pursuing a career where she could help others achieve their goals. Eager for future accomplishments, Ms. Peak plans to establish a private practice for individual therapy while exploring opportunities to teach and write a book. These aspirations reflect her commitment to positively impacting others' lives through education and therapeutic support.
