From 2021 to 2022, she held various leadership positions, including vice president of operations compliance and risk management and vice president of health, safety, security, environmental (HSSE), and regulatory compliance.
Ms. Wilson joined Buckeye Partners in 2016 as senior director of HSSE. She later advanced to executive director for HSSE, regulatory compliance, and operations management system, which she held from 2020 to 2021. In these roles, she led the development of the company's inaugural integrated management system, fostering a culture of environmental stewardship and ensuring robust safety compliance, resulting in measurable improvements during her time as part of operations leadership.
Prior to her tenure at Buckeye Partners, Ms. Wilson served as safety, health, and environmental (SHE) manager for SK Innovation. Her responsibilities included management system development, regulatory compliance, and permitting across Asia, Latin America, and the United States. Earlier, she gained extensive domestic and international experience at PanAtlantic Exploration Company, where she worked as a (HSE) manager in 2010, and from 2003 to 2010, where she held various leadership positions at Devon Energy, having started her career in 1998 as a senior HSE specialist with the company.
Throughout her career, Ms. Wilson has actively contributed to industry organizations. She serves as a board director for the International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA) and participates in professional groups such as the Women's Energy Network (WEN). She has also volunteered with key subcommittees for the Liquid Energy Pipeline Association (LEPA), the American Petroleum Institute (API), the Energy Infrastructure Council (EIC), and the Private Directors Association (PDA).
Ms. Wilson holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science in environmental science and biology from the University of Houston. She has also completed executive education programs in finance and deployment of clean energy at the Yale Center for Business and the Environment and an executive leadership course from Cornell University. Notably, while working in the Middle East, she successfully validated a scientific theory on bioremediation in arid climates, leading to a novel waste management solution for Egypt. She co-authored API publications on safety and risk management in offshore, deepwater drilling environments.
Beyond her academic and professional achievements, Ms. Wilson is deeply committed to civic engagement. She leads employee initiatives fostering community involvement and environmental stewardship and has supported organizations such as the United Way of Greater Houston, the Houston Food Bank, Junior Achievement USA, and Girl Scouts of America.
