He currently serves as the Vice President of Commercial Sales at Scott Carpet One in Midlothian VA, where he leverages his exceptional expertise in developing & marketing clientele spanning various vertical market sectors including Real Estate, Funeral Homes, Senior Living Facilities, Multi-Family Builders, Property Owners & now specializes in Sports Turf along with Rubber Sports Flooring for Playgrounds most recently at Primrose School & A Child's Place Day Care Institutions.

Mr. Grashorn earned valuable experience in corporate sales early on in his career with Nextel from 2000 to 2003. He then transitioned to Lowe's Home Improvement, where he managed the flooring department as well as the kitchen cabinets and appliances divisions from 2003 to 2004, during which time he developed a strategy that successfully introduced Iberia Tiles to 400 stores throughout the southeastern United States. Mr. Grashorn's passion for flooring led him to accept an appointment as a national account outside sales representative with Iberia Tiles in 2005, where he thrived through 2008.

In 2008, Dave launched Trans4ming Floors "Let Us Do Yours", a venture that continues to prosper today. He later joined Asa Carlton Inc. as a flooring manager in pre-construction from 2013 to 2014 before moving on to Cove Carpet One Floor and Home, where Mr. Grashorn excelled as the commercial sales manager from 2014 to 2024 before accepting a promotion to chief estimator from 2023 to 2024.

Taking bold initiatives and creative thinking have contributed to Mr. Grashorn's professional advancement. His strategic vision prompted him to create display boards that highlight various tile designs to allow customers to envision how the product would enhance their space. Notably, Mr. Grashorn's approach exemplified his keen ability to effectively navigate the complexities of merchandising and was installed at over 400 stores.

Mr. Grashorn's academic achievements forged a solid foundation for his career. He completed a Bachelor of Science in retail marketing from Rutgers University in 1995, and he graduated with honors. His passion for continuous learning is exhibited in his industry credentials, which include a flooring certification and the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety designation, which Mr. Grashorn obtained in 2014.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dave actively seeks out prime networking opportunities and is proud to be a part of Carpet One's Co-Op (The World's Largest Cooperative Flooring Group with the same buying power of the big box stores) staying true to his hometown business savvy and service while leading the industry and embracing the local community by engaging weekly with the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce. He also regularly pursues opportunities to engage in his community and contributed as a youth wrestling coach with the Georgia High School Association from 2008 to 2009. Notably, Mr. Grashorn is also interested in creative endeavors and proudly authored "Ava's Cat – Her Brave Brain Tumor Story" in 2014.

Mr. Grashorn attributes much of his success to the unwavering support of his partner, Robin. He also credits his mother, who was a successful private banker, and his father's practical instruction in the trades, as well as his exemplary contributions to the corporate sector, as critical to his advancement. Looking toward the future, Mr. Grashorn is excited about relocating to Virginia with his wife, where they plan to embrace a vibrant lifestyle near a lake while supporting local artists through charitable initiatives.
