Before her tenure at Armanino LLP, Ms. Cornwell was a senior audit manager at DZH Phillips LLP from 2012 to 2014. During this period, she grew her leadership skills. In 2014, she also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco, sharing her knowledge with aspiring accountants. Earlier, Ms. Cornwell strengthened her skills as an assurance senior manager at BPM between 2008 and 2012, where she began cultivating her business development skills.

Ms. Cornwell's career success is underpinned by her strong educational foundation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Business Administration in accounting and finance from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. These academic achievements and her certified public accountant credential underscore Ms. Cornwell's commitment to maintaining high professional standards and continuous professional development.

Additionally, she has served on the Women in Leadership advisory panel at the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. Previously, she was active as a board treasurer for North Beach Citizens.
