Her journey began at Siemens, where she held various roles from 1996 to 2014. Initially serving as a controller and process consultant, she advanced to senior process consultant in 2003. Her tenure at Siemens culminated with her role as a PMO manager and project/program manager from 2007 to 2014, where she notably led, among others, a large, system relevant SAP-project, establishing a new project management office as well as training and coordinating a team of 50 project managers.

Pursuing her long-standing dream of starting a small creative business, in 2014, Ms. Schatz founded Elegantable, a venture she managed until 2024. Concurrently, she launched Edith Schatz 3PMC in 2015, where she continues to operate as a business owner. Her work focuses on freelance consulting with an emphasis on project management frameworks and change management, helping organizations and individuals adapt to their congenial (agile) agile project management processes and methodologies. From 2022 to 2024, she also served as manager of project process development at Projekt Navigator, further solidifying her reputation for excellence in the industry.

Ms. Schatz's educational background laid a strong foundation for her career achievements. She studied Business Administration and Economics at FernUniversitat Hagen in Germany in 1998. Prior to that, she completed an associate degree in business administration at Siemens AG in Erlangen, Germany in 1989 and received her diploma from Johannes-Scharrer-Gymnasium in Nuremberg, Germany in 1987. Her academic pursuits have been complemented by numerous certifications, including certified SAFe practice consultant from Scaled Agile Inc., agile coach (via Agile Heroes), scrum master (scrum.org) and project & portfolio management consultant (IMPA).

Her professional success is attributed to her strong social competencies and ability to connect with people across all levels of an organization. Ms. Schatz values each individual's contribution and fosters an environment of trust and collaboration. Immigrating to the United States in 2024 after living in Belgium for nearly a decade, Ms. Schatz is passionate about championing cultural exchange between American and German communities. Her involvement with organizations such as Midtown Alliance and the Goethe Institute in Atlanta reflects her commitment to fostering international understanding.
