For more than three decades, J.E. "Jack" Zimmerman, PG, CPG, has built a successful career in environmental services as a certified professional geologist. His interest in geology was sparked by his experience in the Boy Scouts of America, where he learned about environmentalism and developed a passion for science. He studied at Pennsylvania Western University Clarion, graduating in 1980 with both a Bachelor of Science in geography and an Associate of Science in business administration, and would later return for an additional Bachelor of Science in geology. Following his passion, Mr. Zimmerman went on to complete a Master of Arts in environmental geography from Kansas State University.
