Mr. Keefe is the chief executive officer and president of Keefe Solutions, a company he founded in 2018 to support individuals facing challenges in accessing information and opportunities. He also evaluates the effectiveness of chief executive officers and organizational culture, recommending changes when necessary, and serves as an executive and fundraising consultant. Mr. Keefe has successfully assisted numerous institutions and has raised more than 750 million dollars during his career.

Prior to founding Keefe Solutions, Mr. Keefe served as the president of the University of Dallas from 2010 to 2018. Here, he focused on ensuring that the right personnel were in optimal roles. He also significantly increased enrollment at the university, was able to secure substantial revenue primarily through fundraising, and was responsible for five new academic/administrative buildings on campus. His tenure at the university highlighted his ability to make difficult decisions for the betterment of the institution. Prior to this, Mr. Keefe held the position of senior vice president at Saint Louis University.

Mr. Keefe's career in academia includes several other leadership roles, including serving as the president of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Foundation for four and a half years and as the associate vice president at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. He also contributed as a development officer at Drake University after a successful nine-year tenure with West Publishing as part of the original West Law team, where he taught legal research online.

Mr. Keefe's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1978 and a bachelor's degree from Benedictine College in 1974. He supported himself while in law school as a bartender and bouncer. Now, he is admitted to practice law by the Kansas Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.

After graduating with a law degree, Mr. Keefe took a position as an attorney representing inmates at Kansas State Penitentiary in Lansing, Kansas, where he worked for a year before practicing law more broadly at other firms. Despite having idealized visions of legal work as a student, he thrived in the legal sphere before eventually entering academia out of a desire to make a broader impact.

Overall, Mr. Keefe acknowledges the role that his upbringing in a modest environment has played in his success. His mother, in particular, instilled in him a strong work ethic and values and encouraged him to save his earnings from delivering newspapers. He also gives credit to his God-given abilities, focus, determination and hard work.

Furthering contributing to his industry, Mr. Keefe has authored a book on children's legal aid published by West Publishing and was recognized as the number one producer on the West Law team from 1984 to 1989. In addition to his professional achievements, he has been civically involved as a volunteer meal server for homeless shelter outreach programs and a participant in various church activities.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Keefe enjoys pilates, traveling and spending time with his family, including his two children.
