Mr. Walker, an esteemed expert in computer technology, has made significant contributions to the field throughout his illustrious career. As the president of Knowledge Management Inc. (KMI) established in 1993, he leveraged his extensive expertise to provide tailored solutions to clients in government, education, and industry.

Before KMI, Mr. Walker launched PEAKSolutions as the president in 1987, which he maintained for 5 years. During this time, he was instrumental in developing strategic initiatives that propelled the company into a competitive position by delivering artificial intelligence (AI) Expert System solutions to the marketplace. His leadership was marked by a commitment to excellence and a drive to push the boundaries of what was possible.

Mr. Walker left Control Data to join Sperry Univac in 1966 to convert their operating system to handle United Airlines' high-volume reservations. This was followed by 5 years at the London Development Center committed to developing a dedicated high-volume operating system. In addition to leading the company's computer architecture, hardware, and software system design group, he was responsible for Sperry's transition into AI in 1984. Collaborating with a startup from Stanford University and Texas Instruments, Mr. Walker and his team began delivering AI-based computers, software, and Expert System solutions opening the commercial marketplace for Expert Systems.

Mr. Walker's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in 1963. Beyond his professional endeavors, he has been actively involved in civic organizations. He was a member of the University of Minnesota computer science advisory board 1980-2002 and ran the Minnesota Immigrant Bridges Email Network from 2003-2013. Mr. Walker's past roles include board memberships with Kaposia from 1989 to 1991 and Kids At Risk Action between 2008 and 2012, and was a partner at The AWL Group from 2009 to 2020 reflecting his commitment to advocacy and community service.

Mr. Walker values working with visionary and talented individuals, which has been evident throughout his career and reflected in his professional achievements and personal interests.
