CHICAGO, March 12, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lynn W. Slawsky, MPA, PMP, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With a career spanning two decades, Ms. Slawsky has established herself as a distinguished professional in project management and research evaluation. As the research and evaluation manager at Rotary International, she oversees a team of researchers and manages approximately 40 active projects. Her role involves facilitating communication among team members to ensure project goals are met and reviewing research reports for clarity and accuracy before they are presented to stakeholders. Ms. Slawsky's expertise in project management is further evidenced by her membership in the Project Management Institute, Toastmasters International and the John Glenn School of Public Affairs Alumni Society.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Slawsky was a project manager for enterprise projects at Rotary International in 2022. Her leadership skills were honed during her tenure as executive director of the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders from 2018 to 2022. In this role, she successfully turned the organization from near bankruptcy to growth and expansion by implementing cost-cutting measures and developing partnerships that increased fundraising revenue. Before becoming executive director, she served as director of community relations for the same organization from 2017 to 2018.

Ms. Slawsky's career also includes significant contributions to UChicago Medicine, where she was program director for support services and facilities operations in 2017 and project manager for hand hygiene from 2015 to 2017. Her earlier roles include serving as a project specialist for deans of education at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine from 2012 to 2014 and as a training program officer at the American Library Association from 2010 to 2012. She began her professional journey as deputy director of research and development at the Ohio Attorney General's Office from 2008 to 2010.

Her academic background is equally impressive. She received a Master of Public Administration from Ohio State University in 2009 and a Bachelor of Arts in international development from the same institution. Additionally, she studied graphic design at Columbus College of Art & Design. Ms. Slawsky holds a project management professional certification from the Project Management Institute, which has been instrumental in her career achievements.

Ms. Slawsky's commitment to civic engagement is evident through her involvement with various organizations. She has served as a board member for The Simple Good, board secretary for Be Real, and president of the Andersonville South Neighborhood Association from 2019 to 2022. Her volunteer work includes being a cook and baker for Ravenswood Community Services and participating in initiatives with Designs for Dignity and the Green Star Movement. She is also an alumni board member for the John Glenn School of Public Affairs Alumni Society at The Ohio State University and mentors graduate students there.

Ms. Slawsky balances her professional life with personal commitments, including spending quality time with her daughter who shares her passion for crafting. Inspired by her parents' emphasis on education and integrity—her mother was a math professor at The Ohio State University and her father a labor lawyer—Ms. Slawsky continues to uphold these values in her career. Looking ahead, she aspires to become the director of research at Rotary International, driven by her belief in the organization's potential for growth and excellence.
