Mr. Cream, a retired engineering manager, has dedicated 35 years to his profession, showcasing expertise in management, development projects, and the design process. His first career in the entertainment industry concluded after spending a decade as a lighting designer and technical director for professional dance and theater companies.

Throughout his first career, Mr. Cream earned recognition as the vice president of a local lighting company. In this role, he designed truss systems and custom lighting control consoles for touring companies, although he felt limited by his lack of an engineering background. This realization prompted Mr. Cream to pursue further education in electronics at Drexel University and ultimately acquire a Bachelor of Science in electronics at Thomas Jefferson University in 1985. His academic pursuits gave him the knowledge necessary to excel in subsequent roles.

Mr. Cream's career trajectory also included serving as the director of engineering for an intelligence transportation business. He achieved notable success by overseeing the design and installation of electronic equipment for Delaware State Transportation's Interstate 95 toll booths with very limited time. His ability to coordinate with manufacturers and leverage resources from other programs ensured the project's timely completion. Additionally, Mr. Cream's collaboration with Smith Industries Inc. on the control and display module for aircraft demonstrated his innovative problem-solving skills, allowing them to offer a competitive solution despite challenges with graphics processing chips.

Beyond his work-related achievements, Mr. Cream has been actively engaged with several industry-related and civic organizations. His professional affiliations include membership in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He has also been a member of the Ballet Dancers and Stage Managers Union and now volunteers with a community theater. He has served as a board member for an adult school, has been active on the executive committee, and is senior captain of a sailing club. After many years of sailing, Mr. Cream was certified by the United States Coast Guard(USCG) as a small vessel captain. Mr. Cream's passion for theater is rooted in his early studies at Temple University, where he pursued theater coursework before transitioning to a career in engineering.

Mr. Cream has been recognized for his contributions to various industries. He received a U.S. Letter of Commendation for his efforts in software installation testing for the USCG and the General Electric Pride Award for his work on NASA's ground station project.

Mr. Cream attributes much of his success to his innate curiosity and eagerness to learn about the technology behind how things work. This curiosity has driven him throughout his career and continues to inspire him as he pursues new interests and adventures in retirement.
