In addition to her role at The Chicago School, Dr. Oleksiw is the managing principal of Measured Transitions LLC, a consulting and coaching business she created in 2012 that primarily provides program evaluation and organizational development services as well as leadership coaching to nonprofits and education systems. In the process she often coaches senior management and is currently providing executive coaching to federal employees.
From 2018 to 2020, Dr. Oleksiw was an adjunct professor at The Chicago School, where she taught courses that integrated her extensive research background with practical applications in psychology and education. Dr. Oleksiw's career also includes significant roles in educational research and assessment. She was the vice president of research and assessment for Cambium Learning Group between 2011 and 2012 and the director of K16 Educational Research at the University of Texas at El Paso from 2008 to 2010. Her professional certifications include a Return on Investment Skill Building Certificate from ROI Institute Inc., an Emotional Intelligence EQ-i 2.0 certification from Multi-Health Systems Inc. and a Professional Certified Coach designation from the International Coaching Federation.
Dr. Oleksiw is actively involved in several industry-related organizations. She has been a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and its North Texas chapter (ICF NT) since 2012 and served as ICF NT Board Chair in 2018 when the chapter received its first award from ICF due, in part, to her development and implementation of a set of standard operating procedures which raised the quality of how the chapter did business. She has also been affiliated with the American Evaluation Association since 1994, the American Psychological Association since 1990 and the American Educational Research Association since 1989. Outside her professional life, she is dedicated to civic engagement as a volunteer with Stand Beside Them, an organization that offers pro bono coaching to veterans transitioning back into civilian life.
Looking ahead, Dr. Oleksiw plans to author a book that will provide doctoral students a comprehensive methodology for navigating the dissertation process by integrating coaching techniques with psychological and technical perspectives. Additionally, she expects to revisit her love of photography.
