Her entry into the underwriting field was serendipitous; while working for KCI reviewing medical records for Medicare notifications, she applied for a case manager position at MetLife. Recognizing her potential during the interview process, the hiring manager suggested she pursue a role as an underwriter instead. This pivotal moment set the stage for her successful career trajectory.

Her academic background includes a master's degree in human resources management from Webster University in 2008 and a Bachelor of Business Administration in business administration and management from Limestone University in 2004. These academic achievements have provided a solid foundation for her professional accomplishments. Ms. Johnson attributes her success to her competence and proactive pursuit of educational opportunities offered by her employers.
