Mr. Horowitz is a recognized expert in sports research who co-founded and has served as the chief executive officer of Vision Insights since 2022. With a career spanning over two decades, he has established himself as an expert in the application and storytelling of data, insights and team management. His current position involves providing data and intelligence to clients through a technology-driven platform that integrates two distinct services. This connected system allows clients to access and utilize data efficiently, setting Vision Insights apart from its competitors.

Before launching Vision Insights, Mr. Horowitz served as the chief revenue officer for the Americas at YouGov, an international online research data and analytics technology group. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Horowitz was the chief revenue officer at SMG Insight, which was later acquired by YouGov Sport. While running the sales operation for YouGov Sport, he took the business from roughly $1 million in annual revenue in the U.S. to over $10 million in less than four years. Mr. Horowitz also worked with his peers to open new markets for YouGov Sport, including Australia and Japan.

Mr. Horowitz's career included several other notable positions, including senior vice president of Nielsen Sports from 2016 to 2017 and senior vice president of the North American region at Repucom in 2016. Notably, he played a crucial role in Repucom's growth before Nielsen acquired the company in 2016. From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Horowitz found success as the vice president of development at Repucom, where he focused on business growth and new product development.

Mr. Horowitz's journey into the data and insights space was non-traditional compared to his peers. He spent time earlier in his career with the Phoenix Suns as the vice president of marketing and partnership activation from 2011 to 2013. In this role, he managed sponsor relationships, negotiated contract renewals and oversaw research functions for the team's business intelligence. Dating back to 2000, he held leading roles at several other industry and broadcast organizations, including Navigate Research, the Harlem Globetrotters, Sierra H Broadcasting, CBS Radio and KJACK Radio.

Mr. Horowitz holds a bachelor's degree in communication, marketing and broadcast management from Northern Arizona University. In addition to his education, he has been active in associations like the National Association of Broadcasters and the Association of National Advertisers.

Mr. Horowitz is involved in various civic-minded organizations and participates in externship and mentorship programs through Arizona State University and his alma mater, Northern Arizona University. He also coaches and engages with students, providing job search assistance. Mr. Horowitz has made significant contributions through speaking engagements at universities and conferences, including presentations on the impact of sports on tourism at the Travel and Tourism Research Association and the Florida Governor's Conference on Tourism.

Mr. Horowitz's contributions have been recognized with several accolades. Sports Business listed Vision Insights among its Best Places to Work in 2023 and 2024, while the Travel and Tourism Research Association recognized Mr. Horowitz for his industry expertise. He attributes his success to his strong work ethic, dedication and willingness to go the extra mile for his clients.
