Cheryl McCune is a registered nurse celebrating more than 20 years of service to her patients and community. Before entering the health care industry, she enjoyed a successful career in commercial art and advertising, and explored entrepreneurship opportunities, opening an auto repair shop. Following major life changes, Ms. McCune struggled to find opportunities that matched her skills. She decided to take a training class for certified nursing assistant (CNA) licensure, where her instructors quickly recognized her talent for the work and recommended she continue on the path toward becoming a registered nurse. Ms. McCune holds a Bachelor of Arts in commercial art and advertising and an associate degree in nursing from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College.
