HOUSTON, TX, April 03, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brooke (Brower) Kosich, MS, CCDS, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
A distinguished professional in the healthcare industry, Mrs. Kosich has held several roles in various departments at Medtronic as well as TeraRecon, giving her a unique perspective on the medical device industry. As a former clinician in cardiology, Mrs. Kosich knew all too well the daily struggles our hospital systems face. She pushed back daily for what she knew was right and best for her patients. After a family member of Mrs. Kosich's suffered a stroke and was not able to be treated, a passion and purpose were then ignited -- to bridge the gap between multidisciplinary care pathways that prevent patients from receiving the best line of treatment. Shortly after, Mrs. Kosich transitioned from working in the hospital to the medical device industry at Medtronic. Here, she learned how much of an impact she could have and at what scale she could have it. Medtronic's mission statement truly drives the company to 'restore health, extend life, and alleviate pain' -- all things that were already driving Mrs. Kosich. She achieved several goals and awards at Medtronic in cardiac rhythm management and neurovascular departments. On several occasions, she was the leading territory manager across the country. She attributes much of this success to her passion and patient-first mentality.
After nearly seven years with Medtronic, Mrs. Kosich was recruited by an advanced visualization company, TeraRecon, to join their team and help build their new AI portfolio. In this role, she was instrumental in commercializing AI products, particularly the Eureka platform, and developing business plans and strategies to enhance the adoption of AI technologies in healthcare settings. Her work was pivotal in advancing the integration of artificial intelligence into medical practices, thereby increasing efficiencies, reducing provider burnout, and improving patient care and outcomes. At TeraRecon. she learned more about the software side of the medical device industry – an often overlooked and under-utilized medium. The potential for AI to replace monotonous and mundane tasks that pull providers away from patient care was promising. "There are so many AI applications on the market that can help alleviate some of the most complex problems we see in healthcare," Mrs. Kosich remarks. "We are just getting started with AI, and although promising, adoption must increase so we can continue to innovate, integrate, and improve."
Recently, Mrs. Kosich re-joined Medtronic as a senior therapy expansion leader, where she is tasked with helping hospitals and providers develop evidence-based workflows to improve patients' lives and prevent secondary strokes and other disease states. Throughout her career, she has advocated for mentoring sales representatives, emphasizing the importance of focusing on patient care over product sales.
