Prior to her current position, she was the assistant deputy comptroller at the Office of the Nassau County Comptroller from 2022 to 2024, during which time she played a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations.

In 2022, Ms. Bamgboye worked as a contract consultant on a self-employed basis, leveraging her extensive knowledge in procurement and contract management. Her career also includes serving as the deputy chief procurement officer for Nassau County in 2021, where she was responsible for managing procurement processes and ensuring compliance with regulations. From 2016 until 2021, she held the position of agency chief contracting officer at the New York City Department of Finance, where she led significant projects, including the transition of the city's financial operating accounts and implementing the Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) utilization program.

In previous roles at the New York City Department of Finance, Ms. Bamgboye was the deputy agency chief contracting officer between 2013 and 2016 and the director of contract administration in 2013. From 2009 to 2013, she held public service roles as a senior procurement analyst and an associate quality assurance specialist at the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services. Prior to these positions, she served as a health and safety specialist at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection from 2008 to 2009 and as a public health inspector at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in 2008. Her diverse experience also includes being a quality control supervisor at Industrial Projects International from 1999 until 2004, where she began her career.

Laying the groundwork for Ms. Bamgboye's professional pursuits have been her educational accomplishments, which began with a Bachelor of Science in science and technology in 1998. She subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental science from Medgar Evers College, CUNY, in 2013, followed by a Master of Public Administration in policy analysis and evaluation from the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College in 2015. Additionally, she is currently pursuing a doctorate in business administration at Florida International University. Her resilient background, in which education was highly valued despite challenges, has been a driving force behind her success, as well as her spiritual faith.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Bamgboye is actively involved in civic organizations. She serves as an assistant pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God International Center Brooklyn. She has led various operations within the church including the children's ministry. In addition, she volunteers as a board member for Hudson River Sloop Clearwater. Her contributions to public service have been recognized with awards such as the MWBE Small Business Award for the New York City Department of Finance for two consecutive fiscal years.

Ms. Bamgboye is also an author, having published "On Halloween Night" in 2024.
