Established in the field of engineering for two decades and building on a family history of three generations of manufacturing professionals, Mr. Beri has served as the environmental, health, safety (EHS) and operational excellence manager for BASF's pharmaceutical solutions global business unit since 2022. He first joined the company in 2006 as a product development engineer. Since then, Mr. Beri has progressed in the company, accepting promotions to operations engineer, North America process business leader, turnaround operations manager, and project manager for the site optimization task force. Throughout his time with BASF, he has played a key part in developing products that have driven the organization's success. In his current role, Mr. Beri focuses on ensuring safety and efficiency across multiple levels at BASF's facilities.

Born in India, Mr. Beri first sought an education in his home country. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College in 1999. After moving to the United States in 2000, Mr. Beri earned a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Alabama in 2003. Committed to lifelong learning, he has solidified his credentials with continued education. Mr. Beri became certified in project leadership through Cornell University in 2017 and as a change practitioner through Prosci in 2020. He obtained his Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Alabama Technology Network in 2008.

Mr. Beri has distinguished himself throughout his field in a number of capacities. His accomplishments were celebrated with the Operational Excellence Leadership Award from Frost & Sullivan in 2017. Mr. Beri maintains membership in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He credits his success to a strong drive to make a positive impact and an eagerness to meet challenges head-on. Mr. Beri's achievements were made possible by the love and support of his parents, as well as various teachers, mentors, family and friends. He also notes the importance of the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, the Hindu holy book, in guiding him on his personal journey.

In addition to his professional life, Mr. Beri is known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen. He volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and has partnered with Doctors Without Borders. Mr. Beri has prioritized strong support for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives throughout his career, looking to build workplaces that are more welcoming and more productive. He also prides himself on offering professional mentorship, putting his wide-ranging expertise to use in aiding the growth of others in the industry.

Outside of his career, Mr. Beri is a loving father to triplets. He devotes most of his time outside of work to his family, but he also enjoys traveling, especially when given the opportunity to experience new cultures and foods. Looking ahead, Mr. Beri intends to stay in the chemical manufacturing field. In particular, he hopes to harness the power of science and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence to meet the current and future needs of society.
