He currently serves as the global head of asset management at KPMG LLP, a role he assumed in 2025, and in this capacity, he expertly manages client accounts and leads teams ranging from 15 to 70 individuals. He also remains actively engaged in addressing industry issues through discussions with regulators and other relevant parties. In addition to this key leadership title, Mr. McKee concurrently excelled as the national audit leader for investment management at KPMG, an appointment that initiated in 1991 and that he sustains today, and he acted as the national leader for public investment management from 1991 through 2025.

Mr. McKee's tenure with KPMG progressed through a series of roles as an associate, senior associate, manager and senior manager, where he developed advanced skills and a deeper understanding of the finance sector. His transition through these ranks reflects a keen commitment to excellence in financial accounting and asset management, and Mr. McKee's expertise has proven instrumental in shaping the firm's approach to auditing and to investment strategies.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. McKee humbly served two years of active duty in the United States Army and six years of active service in the Ohio National Guard, followed by two years of inactive service. This military experience has contributed to Mr. McKee's strong work ethic, discipline and leadership acumen.

To forge and maintain productive industry contacts, Mr. McKee maintains membership in several organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Investment Council and the Managed Funds Association. Notably, he co-chaired the AICPA Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation Task Force, which produced a comprehensive 670-page book on private equity valuation titled "The AICPA Accounting and Valuation Guide: Valuation of Portfolio Company Investments of Venture Capital and Private Equity Funds and Other Investment Companies." Mr. McKee counts his collaborative role in the dissemination of this new document, which was positively received by the industry, as a notable career accomplishment.

A passion for continuous learning prompted Mr. McKee to pursue academic excellence, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration in accounting and finance from The Ohio State University, which he completed in 1991. He has also secured distinct industry credentials including the certified public accountant designation, and he has been named a chartered global management accountant. Mr. McKee attributes his success to growing up in a loving family with caring parents, benefiting from mentors who guided him along the way and maintaining a strong work ethic.

Mr. McKee actively seeks opportunities to serve, and he has been a board member and trustee at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart since 2017. He also prioritizes spending quality time with his two daughters and achieves balance by following college football, playing golf and tennis and reading. Looking toward the future, Mr. McKee plans to engage in charitable causes and serve on boards within the asset management industry after retiring from KPMG.
