MILTON, MA, April 17, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Diana Bryon Roberts has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Ms. Roberts has established herself as a distinguished expert in fundraising, with a career spanning four decades, most recently serving as director of institutional advancement at the Gore Place Society. From 2019 to 2024 she was responsible for achieving annual fund goals, managing results and leading a capital campaign. Her expertise in this field is evident in her unwavering commitment to achieving every fundraising goal she sets.

Before her role with the society, Ms. Roberts was a senior major gifts officer at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Berklee College of Music, from 2008 to 2018. During this time, she played a pivotal role in a more than $30 million campaign that led to the complete renovation of the theater. Her dedication to the students in the musical theater and dance departments was instrumental in this success. Before becoming a senior major gifts officer, Ms. Roberts began as a major gifts officer for the institution's undergraduate and graduate institution, which trains students in musical theater, dance, opera and music education between 2009 and 2018.

Ms. Roberts' career began with her service in the Peace Corps from 1966 to 1968, where she worked in Washington and Tunisia. This experience profoundly shaped her perspective and guided her along her professional path. Her adaptability and keen instincts have been key strengths throughout her career, allowing her to build and nurture relationships effectively.

In preparation for her future, Ms. Roberts's academic background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in communications, with honors, from Drake University in 1971, followed by coursework in rhetoric and communications at Hunter College, the City University of New York, in 1973 and communications at Simmons University in 2001.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Roberts has been actively involved with several civic-minded organizations. She has been a fundraiser for the Vincent Club at Massachusetts General Hospital since 1965 and volunteers with The Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts and St. Joseph's Indian School. Her contributions have been recognized with awards such as Super Volunteer at Saint Michael's Episcopal Church in 2024 and significant honors from the Peace Corps. Ms. Roberts is also an accomplished author, having published "Farrago: A Memoir of Markie and Me" in 2013, "Spare Parts: A Rollicking Ride through the late 60s and 70s" in 2018, and "Missing Parts" in 2024. She has also appeared as a guest on the podcast "This Week in America." Ms. Roberts plans to publish another book with a carnival theme. Her goal is to adapt one or two of her books into films.
