A distinguished leader in the brewing industry, Mr. Cooper currently serves as a senior brewmaster at Anheuser-Busch Companies LLC in Houston, Texas. Bringing more than 25 years of experience to his role, he oversees the entire brewing process, leads a team of over 100 members and ensures the achievement of key performance indicators such as brand quality, efficiency, safety and financials. His leadership and expertise have been pivotal in expanding the brewery's brand capabilities by almost 40 percent through new product launches and attaining organic certification from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Mr. Cooper's career at Anheuser-Busch Companies LLC began in 1999 when he joined as a process engineer in Saint Louis, Missouri. During his five-year tenure in the role, he collaborated with design consultants, construction engineers and programmers to expand brewery production into other states, particularly focusing on projects in Colorado. His dedication and innovative approach led to his promotion to brewing area manager in Newark, New Jersey, from 2004 to 2009, during which he honed his skills in food safety and complex brewing operations.

In 2009, Mr. Cooper continued his well-traveled journey in Jacksonville, Florida, as an assistant brewmaster until 2011. He then transitioned to the role of assistant packaging manager for one year before becoming the maintenance improvement manager from 2013 to 2014. His ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency was recognized during his second spell as an assistant brewmaster from 2014 to 2016. Subsequently, he served as a technical manager and brewing subject matter expert in Saint Louis from 2016 to 2018.

Soon after he became a senior brewmaster in 2019, Mr. Cooper was nominated as a partner within Anheuser-Busch Companies LLC. Based on his exceptional results over many years, the nomination represents one of the most significant milestones of his career. He also led a groundbreaking project that introduced the first beer product with nutritional information, significantly reducing operational costs from an estimated $10 million down to $3.5 million through his expertise and collaboration with breweries. His many contributions were honored when he was part of the Anheuser-Busch team that won the award as the Best Brewery in the World.

Mr. Cooper's educational background has played an important role in his success. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1999 and later obtained a Master of Business Administration from Webster University in 2013. Additionally, he holds a diploma in brewing from the Chartered Institute of Brewing and Distilling and is a Certified Cicerone through the Cicerone Certification Program. His commitment to continuous learning is evident in his completion of multiple change management and leadership courses through LinkedIn Corporation.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Cooper is actively involved in civic organizations. He volunteers with the University of Missouri Alumni Association and participates in community beautification projects with the Buffalo Bayou Organization.

Born in Saint Louis, Mr. Cooper enjoys spending quality time with his spouse and their two children. Staying active through various outdoor activities, he finds joy in fishing and hiking in the mountains.
