Mr. Williams is a distinguished national security and defense professional serving as the senior vice president and Dayton site executive at Sierra Nevada Company (SNC). With over 35 years of experience, he has been instrumental in managing the indirect budget for the most extensive business area at SNC, setting strategic directions for investments in internal research and development, and overseeing business proposals and marketing. Mr. Williams' leadership has been pivotal in the establishment of the SNC Aviation, Innovation & Technology Center at Dayton International Airport and winning three of its enterprise strategic priorities exceeding $13B in contract awards.

In his current role since 2025, Mr. Williams is focused on the expansion and master plan for this major aviation center. SNC currently has two 90,000-square-foot hangars operational with two additional 90,000-square-foot hangars under construction and scheduled to be operational by early 2026. SNC is the first company to bring aviation work back to the Dayton region since the Wright-Brothers.

Before his present position, Mr. Williams began serving as the senior vice president of strategy at SNC in 2021. From 2017 to 2021, he held the role of vice president of aviation strategic plans and programs. Mr. Williams' career at SNC began in 2013 as the director of business development, a position he held until 2015 before being promoted to senior director of business development between 2015 and 2016. His dynamic leadership style and straight-talking approach have been key to his success in these roles.

Mr. Williams had a distinguished military career with the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a colonel after over two decades of service. His military roles included SOF C-130 director at PEO-Fixed Wing U.S. Special Operations Command from 2006 to 2009 and B-2 system program director and division chief at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center between 2009 and 2013.

Mr. Williams' educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in engineering mechanics from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 1989. He also holds a Master of Business Administration in finance from Xavier University in Cincinnati, obtained in 1995, and a Master of Science in national defense strategy and resourcing from the National Defense University Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy in Washington, D.C., in 2006.

Beyond his professional life, Mr. Williams adopted seven children through Compassion International and two through ChildFund, demonstrating his commitment to positively impacting the lives of youth worldwide.
