He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine in 2007 after an internal medicine internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2004, Miami Beach. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School Minneapolis in 2003 and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Magna Cum Laude) in biology from Macalester College, in St. Paul Minnesota obtained in 1999. Influenced by a family deeply rooted in medicine, including a father who was an infectious disease specialist and siblings who are also physicians, Dr. Agadzi attributes much of his success to this familial legacy.

A member of esteemed organizations such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and The Phi Beta Kappa Society, Dr. Agadzi has achieved a high level of general and comprehensive ophthalmology expertise. His certification as an ophthalmologist by the American Board of Ophthalmology further attests to his proficiency and dedication to maintaining excellence in his practice.

After graduating residency Dr. Agadzi became partners at Redwood Eye Center in Vallejo, California at which time he also held concurrent roles as adjunct assistant clinical professor both at University of California San Francisco School of Medicine and at Touro University in Vallejo California. At this junction he assisted with clinical training of medical students and residents both in fundamental clinical ophthalmic practice as well as surgical technique.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Agadzi is actively involved in civic-minded organizations such as the Vallejo Executive Lions Club and Surgical Eye Expeditions (SEE) International, where he has participated in volunteer mission trips including to Haiti. He has also been a partner with Lao Rehabilitation Foundation where he played a pivotal role in providing medical care and support to the underserved population. His commitment to community outreach reflects his dedication to making a positive impact locally and globally. Dr. Agadzi's practice at The Redwood Eye Center, has garnered numerous county accolades, including best medical office, optometrist, and best medical doctor, over the years.

Born into a bi-cultural background - his father, a Ghanaian physician, and mother a Russian linguist and language professor, Dr. Agadzi grew up with fluency in several international languages. He enjoys skiing, hiking and spending time outdoors, as well as food, wine and travelling. He aims to balance serving his community and fulfilling his teaching responsibilities while pursuing local, international, and academic endeavors to provide exceptional ophthalmic care.
