Since 2023, he has been responsible for overseeing all human resources operations and policies for over 33,000 employees worldwide and managing a significant contingent workforce. Mr. Cheong's expertise in human resources operations and employee experience has been instrumental in delivering a seamless workforce experience throughout the company.

Affiliated with BCG for over 25 years, Mr. Cheong began as a knowledge and research manager for financial institutions in 1998 before becoming the America's staffing, mobility and special projects manager from 2010 to 2014. Continually excelling, he earned the roles of business management senior director from 2015 to 2022 and business management executive director at BCG Platinion North America between 2022 and 2023.

Mr. Cheong's career commenced in the financial sector, where he held various roles at St. George Bank-A Division of Westpac Banking Corporation from 1991 to 1996. He started as a management cadet before advancing to economic research analyst and balance sheet management analyst positions. Mr. Cheong transitioned to Citi's Global Consumer Bank as a credit risk manager in 1996 before pivoting to BCG.

Mr. Cheong's academic background laid a strong foundation for his professional success. He earned a Bachelor of Business in finance and economics from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts in international business, with honors, from the University of Lincoln in 1995. Subsequently, Mr. Cheong received a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University in 2000.

Throughout his career, Mr. Cheong has been recognized for his leadership and contributions to the field. He has been a member of the Forbes Human Resources Council since 2024 and serves as a governing member of the New York CHRO Community under Gartner C-Level Communities. Outside of his professional life, Mr. Cheong was admitted into the Order of St John in 2003, highlighting his commitment to excellence and community service.
