Mr. Calladonato has established himself as a distinguished figure in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as the North American director of sales for Biospringer by Lesaffre. Throughout his career, he has served numerous companies and managed around 400 restaurants worldwide. Since 2024, he has been at the helm of marketing and developing strategies for product innovation at Biospringer, overseeing both North American and global initiatives. He also plays a pivotal role in navigating mergers and acquisitions while driving sales and growth across North America.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Calladonato was the director of culinary sales at SugarCreek from 2019 to 2024. For the preceding 11 years, he served as the director of Campbell's Culinary and Baking Institute at Campbell Soup Company, where he led a team that earned the Global Team of the Year award. Additionally, he co-owned Fairmount Foods from 2009 to 2010, further diversifying his experience in the food sector.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Calladonato held a one-year tenure as culinary director at The Cordish Company and a three-year tenure as vice president of culinary at Romacorp Inc. His foundational experiences were as a director of culinary operations at Bertucci's from 1999 to 2003 and as regional food and beverage director at Chart House Restaurants for the preceding four years.

Mr. Calladonato's educational background includes an Associate of Occupational Studies in culinary arts from The Culinary Institute of America, where he graduated in 1986. Overall, his dedication to hard work and continuous learning has been a driving force behind his professional achievements. He attributes his success to these qualities, which have enabled him to adapt international technologies like Micvac for large markets in North America.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Calladonato is actively involved with several industry-related organizations, including the American Culinary Federation, the International Food and Beverage Technology Association and the Research Chefs Association. In recognition of his contributions to global sales, he has received the President's Award for Global Sales.

Outside of work, Mr. Calladonato enjoys golf, traveling, trying Asian cuisine and watching sports, particularly football. He is also civically active with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and serves on the board of the Salvation Army in New Jersey. Furthermore, as a volunteer guest teacher at The Culinary Institute of America, he shares his knowledge with aspiring chefs.

Mr. Calladonato's personal experiences have shaped his perspective on life, especially after overcoming challenges related to a leg injury. He plans to write a book titled "Everybody Wants to Be Kind" to inspire others with his story of resilience and kindness. Looking ahead in his professional work, he aims to transform Bio Springer into a leading global yeast extract company and impart valuable business knowledge to his children.
