As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With more than 30 years of expertise in security risk, organizational leadership, intelligence analysis, risk management and first aid training, Mr. Soler has established himself as a seasoned health care consultant. As the owner of Medicine in Bad Places since 2004, he leads his company's mission to provide medical and security consulting throughout the private sector and is responsible for managing locations in Bayside, Queens and Ronkonkoma in New York. His role involves regularly checking in with clients to ensure their satisfaction by addressing their needs and answering questions. Leading by example, he is committed to keeping everyone on his staff fully informed, integrated and accepted within the organization.

Mr. Soler began his career as a paramedic with Medford Ambulance in 1994, a position he continues to hold. In 1997, he expanded his experience by working as a paramedic at Long Island College Hospital until 2000. Subsequently, he served a remarkable two decades with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) starting in 2000 as a police officer and paramedic. In 2006, he became one of 18 tactical paramedics assigned to the NYPD Emergency Service Unit, where he quickly rose to lead and senior tactical medic until his retirement in 2021. Throughout his tenure, he participated in notable high-rise rescues and other significant events in New York City's history.

From 2010 to 2021, Mr. Soler served as a rescue specialist with FEMA New York Task Force One (NYTF1), further expanding his background through experiences and training with various special weapons teams and federal government groups across the United States. Highlighting his diverse skill set, he worked as a paramedic for Global Medical Guardians from 2007 to 2009 and has been involved with SAG-AFTRA as a background actor since 2010.

Mr. Soler's dedication to his profession has earned him numerous life-saving accolades throughout his career, including a hometown hero award from the Daily News for saving the life of a window washer who was in danger of falling from a 20-story window washing rig. He is especially proud that his daughter, who was five years old at the time, was able to witness the recognition ceremony where he was honored by the city mayor and police commissioner.

Academically, Mr. Soler earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in criminal justice and police science from Columbia Southern University in 2024. This stands as one of his most significant personal accomplishments as he overcame challenges related to undiagnosed dyslexia earlier in his life. He also completed emergency medical technology coursework at LaGuardia Community College in 1998 and is certified as a professional EMT and paramedic.

Known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen, Mr. Soler volunteers with Guardian Revival, an organization that supports first responders by addressing post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD) and helps them reintegrate into civilian life after military service and engages in motivational speaking events for first responders dealing with PTSD and emotional struggles.

Outside of his career, Mr. Soler prioritizes spending time with his three children and enjoys seeing them shine in sports and extracurricular activities. Despite an injury preventing him from continuing his lifelong hobby of jiu-jitsu, he remains actively involved in his children's athletic activities. His personal goals include expanding community engagement efforts through programs like Stop the Bleed and providing education and training for first responders.

Mr. Soler's journey reflects a deep commitment to helping others while maintaining humility and passion for his work. He aims to set an example by demonstrating that true success lies in putting others before oneself and remaining grounded despite achievements or recognition.
