Previously, she served as a corporate billing manager at Presbyterian Homes from 2014 to 2017 and as a billing and credentialing manager at Infinity HealthCare Management from 2013 to 2014. Ms. Grimes also owned Chicagoland Medical Billing Specialists Inc., where she gained invaluable experience from 2007 to 2013.

Ms. Grimes's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Benedictine University, which has provided her with a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and decision-making processes—crucial skills in her field. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident through her certification as a certified professional coder by the American Academy of Professional Coders in 2024. This certification underscores her dedication to maintaining high coding accuracy and compliance standards.
