Her role as a guardianship support specialist at Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana in 2019 allowed her to provide essential support to needy individuals. Additionally, Mrs. Wissing taught at Carepointe Academy in Fort Wayne, Indiana, from 2020 to 2021 and Kiddie Care in Enterprise, Alabama, from 2021 to 2022, where she imparted knowledge and inspired young minds.

Mrs. Wissing's military service is a significant aspect of her professional history. In 2001, she joined the United States Army and served until 2009 in various duty stations, including Texas, Indiana and Iraq. From 2013 to 2018, she was a Military Student Services peer advisor at Purdue University Fort Wayne, assisting fellow veterans in their academic pursuits.

Mrs. Wissing completed her education at Purdue University Fort Wayne (formerly Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne), where she earned a bachelor's degree in general studies in 2018 and a bachelor's degree in legal studies with a minor in psychology in 2019. These academic achievements have been instrumental in shaping her understanding of complex issues.

Beyond her work-related endeavors, Mrs. Wissing has volunteered with the Student Veterans Organization and is currently involved with Disabled American Veterans. Her dedication to civic-minded organizations underscores her passion for supporting veterans and raising awareness about mental health issues.
