Her work has been recognized for its creativity and impact, mainly through her book "Fragments," which notably inspired a soldier to seek help after realizing he might have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In addition to her artistic endeavors, Mrs. Wissing has held various roles that highlight her diverse skill set. She served as a corporate trainer at Platinum Retail Marketing in 2018, exemplifying her ability to lead and educate. Her role as a guardianship support specialist at Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana in 2019 allowed her to provide essential support to needy individuals. Additionally, Mrs. Wissing taught at Carepointe Academy in Fort Wayne, Indiana, from 2020 to 2021 and Kiddie Care in Enterprise, Alabama, from 2021 to 2022, where she imparted knowledge and inspired young minds.

Mrs. Wissing's military service is a significant aspect of her professional history. In 2001, she joined the United States Army and served until 2009 in various duty stations, including Texas, Indiana and Iraq. From 2013 to 2018, she was a Military Student Services peer advisor at Purdue University Fort Wayne, assisting fellow veterans in their academic pursuits.

Mrs. Wissing completed her education at Purdue University Fort Wayne (formerly Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne), where she earned a bachelor's degree in general studies in 2018 and a bachelor's degree in legal studies with a minor in psychology in 2019. These academic achievements have been instrumental in shaping her understanding of complex issues.

Beyond her work-related endeavors, Mrs. Wissing has volunteered with the Student Veterans Organization and is currently involved with Disabled American Veterans. Her dedication to civic-minded organizations underscores her passion for supporting veterans and raising awareness about mental health issues. Through these efforts, Mrs. Wissing continues to inspire others while advocating for those affected by PTSD.

Mrs. Wissing's dedication to service is reflected in her numerous accolades. These include four U.S. Army Commendation Medals for various actions she undertook during her military service and a Combat Action Badge recognizing her involvement in physical combat while deployed to Iraq. Her success in publishing is attributed to the unwavering support of her family, friends and publisher, who have been pivotal in her journey.

Eager for the future, Mrs. Wissing envisions expanding her literary portfolio by publishing additional books within her fantasy saga and completing a self-help book on PTSD aimed at college professionals.
