Ms. Shui's career began as a design engineer at Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd in Japan and includes key roles at leading tech companies in the U.S such as Metaflow Technologies, Conexant Systems, Internet Machines Corp, ARM, Broadcom and Cadence Design Systems. Her most notable early positions include serving as a principal IC design engineer at Broadcom and as an engineering manager at ARM, where she contributed significantly to ASIC design and systems architecture. Ms. Shui also served as a visiting research scholar at the University of California, San Diego, and worked as an agrometeorological scientist at the China Meteorological Administration.
Ms. Shui's technical leadership is further evidenced by her contributions to system development and her holding of several patents related to security, high-performance computing and mixed-signal systems.
