His tenure at PepsiCo was marked by several key positions, including chief financial officer and board vice president from 2013 to 2015, senior director of reporting, control and compliance from 2011 to 2013, and chief financial officer and board director in Cairo and Amman/Jordan between 2006 and 2011. Mr. Tukel joined PepsiCo in 1997 as a finance officer in Istanbul and later became a planning director, remaining in that role from 2002 to 2003. In 2004, he became the director of control and compliance for the Middle East, Africa and West Asia business unit. PepsiCo operated based on U.S. standards and principles, providing Mr. Tukel with valuable experience for his later ventures.

Mr. Tukel began his career as a dealer at Yapi ve Kredi Bankasi A.S. in Istanbul from 1993 to 1994 before becoming a cash flow manager at IP Arbo from 1996 to 1997. Throughout his career, he has been committed to building great teams, which he considers his most notable achievement. However, his journey to success was not without challenges; after leaving PepsiCo in 2015, he faced a series of failed startups and financial difficulties. Nevertheless, he established a successful lifestyle and an award-winning business through resilience and perseverance. By leveraging his experience—both positive and negative—he has built a company that offers tremendous value to the U.S. startups it serves.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Tukel is an active member of several prestigious industry-related organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Society of Accountants in the U.S. and the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. Mr. Tukel's educational background includes certifications as a Strategic CFO from Wharton Executive Education in 2011 and in advanced negotiation skills from The Gap Partnership in 2009. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Bogaziçi University in Istanbul, graduating in 1993. He is also a certified public accountant in the State of Delaware. Finally, he holds accreditation as a professional coach and mentor from EMCC and an internal controls auditor certification from the Institute for Internal Controls.

Outside his professional life, Mr. Tukel enjoys sailing, skiing and spending time with his wife and twin daughters. Born in Istanbul, he remains deeply connected to his roots as he continues to progress as a global leader with assignments worldwide.
