Prior to his current endeavors, Mr. Adam served 28 years as a police officer for both the Maryland Natural Resources Police and the Havre De Grace Police. His tenure with the State of Maryland's Natural Resources Police began in 1991 and spanned over two decades until 2016. During this time, he was pivotal in establishing the first SWAT team within the department, focusing on woodland tactical operations, maritime tactical operations, active shooter response and search and rescue management.

Mr. Adam's unique background as a scout sniper in the U.S. Marine Corps and Army National Guard laid the foundation for his career trajectory, instilling in him an unwavering determination that has been a hallmark of his professional life. He considers graduating from the U.S. Marine Sniper School to be his most significant professional accomplishment, one that has opened numerous opportunities for him.

Mr. Adam's expertise is further recognized through his role as an instructor at the Tactical Tracking Operations School in Arizona. His journey from student to instructor at this institution underscores his dedication to continuous learning and skill enhancement. Additionally, he served as the training chairman for the Maritime Tactical Operations Group, reflecting his commitment to advancing tactical training standards.

His accomplishments have not gone unnoticed; Mr. Adam was honored with the Instructor of the Year award by the Maryland Police Training Commission and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Employee of the Year. These accolades are a testament to his exceptional teaching abilities and his impact on the State of Maryland. He attributes much of his success to the determination he developed during his time in the Marine Corps, which continues to drive him today.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Adam is also deeply committed to his family, being a father to seven children. Looking ahead, Mr. Adam aims to expand Tactical Shepherd while maintaining its high standards of service.
