Mr. Mellina was affiliated with Grumman from 1963 to 1968. He also held roles at Honeywell International Inc., Four-Phase Systems, CP Technology and Micrognosis been 1968 and 1998.

Beyond his primary career endeavors, Mr. Mellina contributed significantly to academia as a professor at Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology. He also chaired Ledger 4 from 2019 to 2020, was active on the alumni board of directors at Iona College between 2017 and 2019 and was the chapter president of the Islip Smithtown chapter of UNICO from 2007 to 2009. Mr. Mellina's dedication to fostering young talent remains evident through his mentorship efforts at CP Technology and KPMG. He has also served as a board member at DataScava since 2015.

Mr. Mellina's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in physics and a Master of Business Administration from Iona University. Since earning his degrees, he has been recognized with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award for his contributions to the field.
