He currently serves as the vice president of supply chain for North America at SodaStream in Purchase, New York. In this role since 2023, he oversees a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including forecasting and planning, transportation, warehousing, information technology, procurement, order management, and e-commerce. Mr. Milano's expertise in cross-functional team leadership and supply chain management has been instrumental in his success.

Before moving into the North American role, Mr. Milano served as the vice president of operations for SodaStream in Pennsauken, New Jersey, from 2021 to 2023 overseeing both the supply chain for the US business as well as the CO2 filling operation. During this time, he honed his operational efficiency and logistics management skills.

Recruited from the Italian coffee company Lavazza in New York City, Mr. Milano was the director of customer logistics and technical services for North America between 2015 and 2021. He also held several other significant roles, such as supply chain director at Korres Natural Products from 2013 to 2014 and vice president of operations at Dylan's Candy Bar in New York City between 2012 and 2013. Mr. Milano's earlier career was marked by various positions within the supply chain at Johnson & Johnson in both their consumer products and pharmaceutical sectors where he gained valuable experience in customer service, distribution and project management from 2001 to 2012.

Mr. Milano's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in business logistics from Pennsylvania State University in 2001 and a Master of Business Administration in global business and management from Rutgers in 2009. Further enhancing his expertise, he completed an introductory data science and artificial intelligence (AI) for supply chain management certification from the University of Sydney in 2024.

A highlight of Mr. Milano's career was his recent achievement with his team at SodaStream in identifying $5.5 million worth of productivity and cost savings within the supply chain in 2024, the largest among any SodaStream market. In recent years, he also navigated an overhaul of the SodaStream direct to consumer logistics network in 2022 leading to much improved service levels. These accomplishments underscore his commitment to streamlining the supply chain and identifying efficiencies while building and leading a high functioning team.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Milano lives in Hoboken, NJ, with his wife, Jennifer, an accomplished physical therapist, educator, and researcher. They enjoy traveling the world and experiencing new cultures and cuisines together. As part of their extensive travels, Mr. Milano had the unique experience of visiting all seven continents during 2023. With SodaStream, he has also been actively involved in Earth Day activities, such as cleaning up parks and planting trees, which he looks forward to each year.

Looking ahead, Mr. Milano aims to focus on automation and AI integration to improve efficiency within the supply chain industry. He emphasizes maintaining a resilient supply chain by shifting manufacturing closer to end customers and exploring innovative last-mile delivery options like drones and autonomous vehicles.
