With a career spanning over 30 years, Mr. Machicote has made significant contributions to various organizations. He began in hospitality as a fine-dining restaurant manager at Stouffer Hotel Corporation in Westchester, New York, from 1984 to 1987. Mr. Machicote then joined Flik Hospitality Group, where he held several positions, including senior director of dining services, training manager, and division director of human resources between 1987 and 1999.

Mr. Machicote transitioned to Compass Group, Flik Hospitality Group's parent company, serving as the vice president of human resources and relations development until 2007. His organizational and talent development expertise was further honed during his tenure as the vice president of human resources at Snyder's-Lance Inc. in Charlotte between 2007 and 2014. From 2014 to 2020, Mr. Machicote excelled as the chief human resources officer at Erickson Senior Living in Baltimore. During this time, he launched "One Team Leadership," a program that continues to thrive and positively impact the company culture.

Mr. Machicote's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in business, management, marketing from Manhattanville University in 1986. His academic achievements have been instrumental in his professional success. Mr. Machicote also holds several certifications, including a certified master of managed change from LaMarsh Global Consulting, a organizational mindfulness coaching certificate through the Institute for Organizational Science and Mindfulness, and is an ICF-certified executive and leadership and neurolinguistic programming coach from Symbiosis.

Beyond his primary work obligations, Mr. Machicote's commitment to professional growth is reflected in his memberships with the National Speakers Association of the Carolinas and the Society for Human Resource Management. He is also actively involved in several civic organizations. He has been a trustee on the board of trustees at Manhattanville College since 2022 and is also active as the board president of Mental Health America of Central Carolinas since 2022. Mr. Machicote's past roles include board member positions with Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont and The Coordinating Center, among many others.

In preparation for his future, Mr. Machicote intends to launch his first book, "Own Thy Stuff!", to help others discover their best selves, and in retirement will continue his journey as a "cultural engineer".
