His tenure at Guardian Life was preceded by a role as a machine learning engineer at Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) with Koin Capital Inc, where he focused on advanced machine learning algorithms for financial applications.

From 2021 to 2023, Mr. Wang was a research engineer specializing in computer vision at Joblogic-X Corporation (Glasssix) in Plano, Texas. A key project involved developing a multi-modal solution for security screening devices, fusing data from computer vision (CV) images, infrared (IR) sensors, and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to enhance threat detection capabilities. Before this, he worked as a data science specialist at Hebei Yangyuan Zhihui Beverage Co. Ltd in Hebei, China, from 2019 to 2021, where he applied data analytics to optimize production processes and improve product quality.

Mr. Wang's career began as a senior mechanical engineer at Shanghai Electric Group Limited Company in Shanghai, China from 2015 to 2019. His innate curiosity drove his transition from mechanical engineering to data science and a desire to explore new solutions to complex problems.

Mr. Wang's academic journey includes a Master of Science degree in business intelligence and analytics from Stevens Institute of Technology, completed in 2023. He also holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which he earned in 2015. These academic achievements gave him a strong foundation for his data science and artificial intelligence career. He recently had two papers accepted at ICME 2025 (one as 1st author, one as 3rd author).

In addition to his formal education, Mr. Wang has obtained numerous certifications that have furthered his expertise. These include AWS certified solutions architect professional, AWS certified machine learning specialty, AWS certified data analytics specialty from Amazon Web Services; NVIDIA-certified associate for generative artificial intelligence large language models; certified data engineer professional from Databricks; Microsoft certified Azure data scientist associate.

Mr. Wang attributes his success to three key factors: curiosity, hard work and luck. His curiosity has driven him to explore new techniques and ideas throughout his career, while his dedication has led him to continually refine his expertise through reading technical blogs, attending conferences and contributing to academic papers.
