Over the years, she has demonstrated her ability to adapt and excel in various roles, including recruiter generalist and senior recruiter generalist, where she focused on the Department of Transportation, hiring drivers and managing the transportation of human resources activities. Her innovative approach led to the successful implementation of a driving school program that funded training for employees aspiring to become drivers.

During her mid-career at Synagro Technologies Inc., Ms. Freeman transitioned into a managerial role in transportation in 2023, leveraging her extensive experience to improve departmental operations. Her leadership skills were further recognized when she was promoted to senior corporate transportation manager and corporate transportation manager in 2023 to 2024. In these roles, she played a pivotal part in transforming the company's maintenance program by bringing it in-house, which resulted in increased scheduled maintenance and fuel efficiency while reducing costs. Despite initial resistance to the shift toward in-house management, mainly due to concerns about potential cost increases, the outcomes have been overwhelmingly positive. Her experience culminated in her promotion to her current role, the director of fleet compliance, in 2024.

Before partnering with Synagro Technologies Inc., Ms. Freeman served as an Intensive In-Home Counselor at the National Counseling Group for one year before her aunt suggested she apply at Synagro with the intention of working her way up. Ms. Freeman began her working life at her alma mater, Bridgewater College, as an assistant women's lacrosse coach.

Ms. Freeman's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in psychology from Bridgewater College, obtained in 2014. She believes that her education in psychology has helped her better understand and interact with others. In addition to her education, her ability to collaborate effectively has been a key factor in her success, allowing her to implement change and make informed decisions that benefit the organization. She has made a concerted effort to network across various areas within the organization and make herself approachable and available to her colleagues for support and guidance.

Furthering Ms. Freeman's professional expertise is her certification as an HR generalist from HRCertification.com Seminars LLC. Additionally, she is an active member of industry-related organizations, such as Women in Motion and the American Transportation Association.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Freeman enjoys lacrosse in her free time. In the upcoming years, she envisions transforming the perception of transportation by making it more efficient and safe on a broader scale beyond Synagro. Her goal is to continue making significant contributions to the field while encouraging others to recognize the positive changes resulting from her efforts.

Ms. Freeman's aspirations also include growing within her career and expanding her impact on transportation.
