Currently supporting seven active clients, Ms. Carroll brings a hand-on approach to advising, often traveling to client sites and immersing herself in their strategy, operational challenges, and goals. Her work spans initiatives such as designing and optimizing operating models for enablement and service delivery functions and aligning the organizational models to long-term strategic objectives. Known for her collaborative style, Ms. Carroll is not only a trusted advisor to her clients but also a respected mentor and leader within the IA team.

Prior to assuming the role of managing principal, Ms. Carroll served as a principal at IA beginning in 2013. During this time, she honed her skills in strategic planning, enterprise transformation, and executive stakeholder management. Her expertise in navigating complex organizational landscapes helped lay the foundation for her leadership within the firm.

Before joining Inflexion Advisors, Ms. Carroll built a distinguished 13-year career at Fidelity Investments, where she held several pivotal roles. Most recently, she served as program director for strategy and planning within Fidelity's Benefit Plan Services division. In this role, she was responsible for aligning cross-functional initiatives with business priorities, overseeing enterprise programs, and driving innovation in service offerings. Prior to this, she served as director of product management for HR Access, a Fidelity subsidiary, where she led roadmap planning and product development for HR solutions. From 2007 to 2010, she was senior quality control manager for HR and payroll operations, ensuring delivery excellence and regulatory compliance. Earlier in her tenure at Fidelity, she also served as a configuration manager, where she managed system settings and configurations for enterprise clients.

Ms. Carroll's professional journey began in the construction and real estate development industries. She served as development controller at Marriott Vacation Club, where she oversaw financial operations for new resort construction projects across the U.S. From 1998 to 2000, she worked as a financial analyst at Welbro Construction Company, managing budgeting and forecasting for major construction initiatives. Her earliest experience was at Turner Construction Company, where she served as an accounting coordinator. These roles gave her a strong foundation in project management, financial oversight, and cross-functional teamwork.

In addition to her corporate career, Ms. Carroll briefly taught mathematics at Coastal Carolina Community College from 1995 to 1996. She found the role especially meaningful, as she worked closely with students reentering the college system. The experience deepened her appreciation for mentorship and the transformative power of education—principles that continue to guide her leadership style today.

Ms. Carroll earned her Bachelor of Science in economics from Florida State University in 1994. Growing up as the daughter of a U.S. Army helicopter pilot, she learned the importance of adaptability, resilience, and building community wherever life takes you. These early life lessons, coupled with her background as a competitive athlete, have shaped her approach to leadership, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Carroll is actively involved in civic organizations. She is a donor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Wounded Warrior Project, and Tunnels to Towers. As part of IA's client and community philosophy, donations are made to four designated charities whenever a client provides feedback or when someone selects to receive our newsletter. One of the charities is The Jason Foundation, which focuses on teen suicide prevention, which holds a deep personal significance for Ms. Carroll.

Her contributions to the HR technology and consulting space have earned industry recognition, including being named among the Top 100 HR Tech Influencers in 2022 and 2023—honors that reflect her impact and innovation in the field.

Outside of work, Ms. Carroll enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, engaging in sports activities, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. She is passionate about maintaining balance in life and prioritizing wellness, both personally and professionally. Looking toward the future, she is deeply focused on preparing the next generation of leaders. Her goal is to develop a capable successor and ensure a smooth transition that preserves IA's mission and values long after she steps back from day-to-day operations.
