He earned a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1985 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in English literature at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1978. In the coming years, he plans to focus on extensive writing projects, including documenting the story of his grandfather, who was a prisoner of war in Japan during World War II. Drawing on research from the National Archives and family history, he aims to provide a comprehensive narrative about World War II in the Pacific from the perspective of prisoners of war.
