As the associate director of clinical operations at Evive Biotechnology from 2020 to 2021, he initiated comprehensive studies and programs on the management of graft-versus-host disease. From 2015 to 2019, he was a senior clinical trial manager at Celgene, now part of Bristol-Myers Squibb. He also worked as a clinical trial lead at Novartis AG from 2012 to 2015, further enhancing his management and leadership acumen.

Dr. Ofosu-Appiah began his professional endeavors as a clinical research scientist at Medarex from 2000 to 2004, followed by his role as a clinical trial manager at Kyowa Kirin Co. Ltd. from 2004 to 2010. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his expertise and contributions to the field with a successfully secured patent and membership in prestigious organizations such as The American Association of Immunologists and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Before starting his vocational journey. Dr. Ofosu-Appiah earned a Doctor of Philosophy in autoimmunity from the University of Manitoba in 1988, a master's degree in immunology from The University of Manchester in 1984 and a bachelor's degree in microbiology from Aarhus University in 1982. Acknowledged for his dedication to scholastic excellence, he was awarded scholarships for both the master's degree and Doctor of Philosophy programs. He attributes his success to the discipline instilled by his parents during his upbringing in poverty, which taught him the importance of education and striving to exceed expectations.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Ofosu-Appiah is actively involved in civic-minded organizations such as United Way and Goodwill Industries International, where he contributes as a donor. Also a prolific writer, he has authored ten publications and is an accomplished speaker and presenter, showcasing his ability to share his scientific knowledge through various mediums.

In his personal life, Dr. Ofosu-Appiah enjoys volunteering at senior citizen centers and helping his church community.
