Before her current position, Ms. Lukoszek was a freelance senior designer for Tretorn Women's Collection at Global Brands Group from 2017 to 2018. In this role, she honed her skills in designing women's collections and contributed significantly to the brand's aesthetic. Prior to that, she worked as a freelance senior designer for suits and separates at Tommy Hilfiger under G-III Apparel Group Ltd. in 2017, where she further developed her expertise in fashion design.
From 2015 to 2017, Ms. Lukoszek was a retail specialist at James Perse Enterprises Inc., where she gained valuable experience in retail operations and customer engagement. Her journey in the fashion industry includes her tenure as design director for women's sportswear international at Nautica from 2011 to 2015. During this time, she played a crucial role in developing women's items to complement Nautica's lifestyle brand, which primarily focused on men's products.
Ms. Lukoszek's entrepreneurial spirit led her to launch her handbag collection, November XVIII, in 2009. Despite facing challenges such as cash flow issues, this venture was a personal journey that allowed her to explore her passion for accessories and organic shapes in design. Her background in apparel influenced her approach to accessories, resulting in early success when Barney's New York ordered some of her pieces.
Ms. Lukoszek's educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology at The State University of New York, which she completed in 2000. This academic foundation gave her the skills to excel in the fashion industry. Ms. Lukoszek attributes much of her success to the support of her parents and the inspiration drawn from her father's construction talent. Similarly, she credits the importance of dedicating herself to her craft and remaining open to new opportunities.
