Mr. Twardy has consistently prioritized building and maintaining positive professional relationships throughout his career, ensuring he left each workplace on good terms. Mr. Twardy's educational background laid a strong foundation for his successful career. He graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1975 with an associate degree in architectural technologies. In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Twardy has been deeply involved in civic organizations. He has served as worshipful master of both the West Allis Lodge and Doric Masonic Lodge in Madison as a Freemason, being granted the Mason of the Year award three times. Additionally, he has been head of the Order of the Eastern Star on nine occasions since 1997 and serves at their community centers.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Twardy enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing and hunting. He values family above all else and is dedicated to supporting his grandchildren's aspirations alongside his children. Together with his wife, he remains actively involved in their grandchildren's lives through babysitting and coordinating daycare or preschool arrangements.
