She served as a lead application developer with the California National Guard from 2007 to 2013 and held the rank of chief warrant officer 2 in the U.S. Army from 1994 to 2018. Her military career was distinguished by various awards, reflecting her dedication and service. Additionally, she is an active member of The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, underscoring her continued commitment to veteran affairs.

Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in business information systems from Indiana Wesleyan University, completed in 2009. This education provided a strong foundation for her career in information systems and consulting. Ms. Labritz has also pursued numerous certifications to enhance her professional capabilities, including Certified SAFe® 6 Practitioner and Certified Scrum Professional, both obtained in 2024.
