She approves "junk outs" by verifying that units deemed unrepairable are correctly categorized and billed. Additionally, she compiles weekly reports on junk outs to determine billing responsibility for damaged units and communicates with 50 to 65 stores about these matters, handling disputes as they arise.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Scott began her career at Best Buy in 2021 as a merchandise processor. Her responsibilities included handling large returned appliances, assessing their repairability and preparing them for resale. Her meticulous attention to detail in this role soon caught the attention of the top manager of the Service Depot, who offered her an opportunity to try quality assurance.

Ms. Scott's journey into quality assurance was marked by her passion for ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Within two months of transitioning into this new role, she discovered a deep interest in tracking inventory, ensuring stores had the correct items and documenting processes. Her enthusiasm for creating Excel databases further solidified her commitment to the field. This dedication led her to relocate from Cleveland to Charlotte when a quality assurance position became available at the Charlotte Service Depot.

Educationally, Ms. Scott earned an associate degree in graphic design and web/app development from Cuyahoga Community College in 2021. In addition to her formal education, she attributes much of her success to the supportive network she has cultivated throughout her career. She is very proud of her relationships with her colleagues, who view her as approachable, as she has created an environment where all questions are welcomed.

Beyond her professional life, Ms. Scott is civically involved with Magickly Natural, a company for which she provided product labels and product photos. Her personal experiences have fueled her passion for making the world more accessible, particularly due to her mother's hereditary blindness and a friend's color blindness.

In her personal life, Ms. Scott enjoys fine arts and animal protection. Some of her plans include owning a house with acreage to establish an elder cat sanctuary alongside a close friend who shares similar aspirations for elder dogs. Professionally, she aims to create a firm dedicated to making the online world more accessible for everyone, addressing challenges like language barriers, color blindness and legal blindness.
