PLANO, TX, May 15, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Catherine A. Oleksiw with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Catherine A. Oleksiw celebrates many years' experience in her professional network and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Oleksiw's journey in psychology began with her enrollment in introductory psychology and philosophy classes at the University of Hartford during her senior year in high school. This early interest led her to pursue higher education at the same university, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. Her career took off when she started working as an adjunct psychology professor and an educational consultant for the Connecticut Department of Education. Over the years, she honed her expertise in program evaluation, strategic leadership, budget management, and education research through various research and administrative roles with AED (Academy for Educational Development and now FHI 360), the University of Texas at El Paso, Cambium Learning Group, the Center for Nonprofit Management, and The Chicago School.

Dr. Oleksiw's commitment to her field is evident in her continuous pursuit of knowledge. She completed a Master of Education in educational psychology: measurement & evaluation, and a Master of Arts in psychology and education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a PhD in educational psychology: measurement & evaluation from Columbia University. She also received a return on investment skill-building certificate through the ROI Institute and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation. Drawing on years of professional experience, she excels as the managing principal of Measured Transitions LLC and as a Business Psychology Department Chair at The Chicago School.

Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Oleksiw aligns herself with several organizations, including the American Educational Research Association, the American Psychological Association, the American Evaluation Association, and the North Texas chapter of the International Coach Federation. In addition to her professional and educational endeavors, Dr. Oleksiw volunteers with Stand Beside Them, which provides pro bono coaching to veterans.

While Dr. Oleksiw's career has been filled with highlights, two of her most memorable are presenting on multiple regression to tax assessors at conferences of the International Association of Assessing Officers when she was a senior assessment analyst for a time before finishing her PhD, and serving as president of the North Texas chapter of the International Coach Federation where she instituted standard operating procedures for managing the business of the chapter. Looking forward, she intends to continue as chair of The Chicago School's business psychology department in Dallas, increase her visibility as a professional speaker, and author a book to provide her students with a blueprint for navigating the dissertation process integrating both coaching and technical perspectives.
