ROCKFORD, MI, May 15, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jonathan Goei, CAA, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Mr. Goei, a Certified Athletic Administrator, has been serving as the Director of Athletics at Forest Hills Central High School since 2021. In this role, among many other duties and responsibilities, he is responsible for hiring, training, monitoring and evaluating coaches, scheduling games, coordinating officials and event workers, managing transportation, and budgeting within the complexities of public education funding. He works closely with 25 to 30 student leaders annually, meeting monthly to focus on leadership development and support in navigating societal challenges. Additionally, Mr. Goei serves on several committees, including the Realignment Committee and the Scheduling Committee for a conference of over 40 schools. He is also part of the district-wide Safety and Security Committee and contributes to state committees for the Michigan High School Athletic Association.

Before his current position, Mr. Goei was the North American Director of Operations and Logistics for Green Circle Salons from 2014 to 2021. During this time, he honed his operations management and logistics coordination skills, which have been instrumental in his current role as an Athletic Director. His business experience gave him a unique perspective on managing resources and leading teams effectively.

Mr. Goei's educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health and Physical Education as well as Psychology from Grand Valley State University, where he graduated in 2009. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for his career in athletics and education. His passion for teaching and coaching young people was evident early on, as he spent 15 years coaching at the high school and collegiate levels.

In addition to his degree, Mr. Goei holds several certifications that have furthered his expertise in the field. He became a Certified Athletic Administrator through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association in 2024. He has also been a Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist, and Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine since 2018. These certifications have equipped him with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as an athletic director.

Mr. Goei is actively involved in industry-related organizations such as the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, the Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association and the Michigan High School Athletic Association. His commitment to professional development and networking within these associations underscores his dedication to advancing youth athletics.

Outside his professional life, Mr. Goei was born in Zeeland, MI and enjoys spending quality time with his family, including his spouse, Amy, one daughter, and one son. He is passionate about fostering positive change in youth athletics and education by promoting civility and respect within these fields. Mr. Goei hopes to be part of a collective effort to bring about significant improvements in these areas, conveying this message regularly to students, parents and community members alike.
