KATY, TX, May 16, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Paul B. Mostella II, PE, SE, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A distinguished professional with more than a decade of experience in the engineering realm, Mr. Mostella currently serves as the director of engineering at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG). In his role, he oversees projects related to overhead transmission lines across the United States, manages proposals and provides ongoing support while staying actively involved in the design process and ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental permitting requirements for new and existing overhead transmission lines. He collaborates closely with regional construction teams to ensure that engineering deliverables meet project specifications and support construction activities.

Prior to joining QISG, Mr. Mostella spent a successful eight-year tenure as a project manager and civil engineer at Black & Veatch Corporation from 2016 to 2024. During this time, he honed his skills in managing complex engineering projects, further developing his expertise in utility infrastructure while gaining valuable experience in designing and implementing engineering solutions. He has worked with utility companies nationally and globally to support bulk electric system project deliverables.

From 2011 to 2016, Mr. Mostella worked as a senior structural engineer at Burns & McDonnell. In this capacity, he was responsible for leading teams in the design and analysis of overhead transmission and station facilities, contributing significantly to the company's success in delivering high-quality engineering services. He began his career at SAE Towers as a design engineer from 2009 to 2011, during which he developed foundational skills that have been vital throughout his professional journey, including conducting comprehensive testing of towers in countries such as Brazil and India.

Mr. Mostella's involvement with industry-related organizations is equally notable. He is an active member of the Standards Development Committee of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). His most significant achievement has been his involvement in developing structural loading standards for overhead transmission lines. Since 2021, he has chaired a chapter on establishing construction and maintenance loading requirements for these lines, encapsulated in the document "Minimum Loads for Structures Supporting Overhead Power Lines."

Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. Mostella earned a Master of Engineering in structural engineering from Texas A&M University in 2009 and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the same institution in 2007. He credits his success to his parents, Paul Mostella Sr. and Jan Mostella, whose unconditional sacrifice allowed him to become the person he is today, along with the support of his sister, Misty Mostella, aunt Ruby Shoe, and cousins Janna and Michael Shoe. Along with his robust education, he also attributes much of his success to the challenges posed by his mentors and peers, which motivates him to excel on a daily basis. His renowned attention to detail and quality assurance from mentors have been crucial in shaping his professional identity.

In addition to his occupational accomplishments, Mr. Mostella has contributed to the field through speaking engagements at venues such as the Transmission and Substation Design and Operation Symposium (TSDOS). Sharing his insights and advancements throughout the industry has further solidified his reputation as a leader in engineering.

Outside of his career, Mr. Mostella enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Rina Mostella, and two children, Paul Mostella III and Diego Mostella, and occasionally indulges in golfing as a leisure activity. Looking to the future with optimism, he aims to ensure that utility infrastructure remains reliable and resilient while designing best-in-class utility systems capable of enduring the test of time. Furthermore, he envisions significantly expanding his team at QISG within the next few years. His past achievements and future goals alike reflect a legacy of advancing engineering and safety protocols while excelling professionally and personally.
